He usually builds in 1/32 scale, but José went big — really big — with Armor Hobbies’ 1/6 scale SdKfz 250. “A 1/6 scale model with brittle plastic components that require modification, gluing, mechanical bonding, or a combination of all that, has unique challenges for the model builder,” he says. He painted his Leichter Schützenpanzerwagen with Krylon spray cans; tactical markings are for Aufklärungs Abteilung 2, 2nd Panzer Division.
