With German manufacturer Gotha as a namesake for the designation, the Go 229 is perhaps more properly called Ho 229, for the Horten brothers, Reimar and Walter, who designed and developed the all-wing jet. Manuel built Revell Germany’s 1/72 scale kit mainly from the box. “The only license is the painting,” says Manuel. Key to the finish is the wood-grain decal from Uschi von der Rosten.
