Christian Stock
Levallois, France
Christian modified Fujimi’s 1/72 scale HH53-C to depict the CH53-D that lifted U.S. Ambassador John G. Dean away from Landing Zone Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on April 12, 1975. In Operation Eagle Pull, the U.S. military evacuation at the end of the Cambodian Civil War came less than a month before the fall of Saigon. In front of a scratchbuilt apartment complex are Pegasus and Preiser figures, many of them modified. Christian painted with Tamiya spray cans and applied custom-made decals.
