Mel says: “Reviewing Airfix’s 1/48 scale Folland Gnat T.1 in the September 2015 FineScale Modeler, Caleb Horn wrote, ‘I can’t imagine how small this bird is in 1/72 scale.’ Well, now he can! One these is Airfix’s fairly recent kit. The other is from God-knows-when, possibly the 1960s.”
