Robert writes: “My father-in-law purchased this 1/72 scale Revell Gato sub kit but passed away before he could open it. I built it in his honor as the USS Crevalle, one of three subs he was stationed on.
“This was my first model since junior high school. I used .011" guitar string for railings and added CMK model figures on the sail. It was a great learning experience to build this sub and learn about the crews that lived aboard.”
