Jon commandeered common household supplies for his Dragon 1/35 scale Panther Ausf D, giving it a camo net made from gauze and weathering with mud he made from coffee grounds. He painted with Tamiya and Vallejo colors. “Out of most of the German main battle tanks, I prefer the look of the Panther,” he says. “It doesn't have the box-on-wheels look of the Tiger; it’s sort of elegant and streamlined. I just like it — for a German vehicle.”
