“The base was a challenge, as there was so much detail,” says John. He built Andrea Miniatures’ 90mm white-metal German sniper, which comes with a resin base. Painting mainly with acrylics, he used artist’s oils on some of the broken wood pieces. The snow is a combination of white glue and corn starch.
