After building Italeri’s 1/9 scale Harley-Davidson, Van says, “I modeled this in memory of my dad, who was in a recon squadron with the 9th Armored Division during World War II and rode the WLAs every chance he got.” Van added wiring for the lights and horn and finished the bike with Tamiya acrylic paints, artist’s oil washes, and dry-brushing.
