Manuel likes a good “what-if” project, such as this 1/35 scale Panther-based rocket launcher. He writes: “The chassis is the Tamiya Panther G with the engine cover moved to the center of the hull. The back of the hull is scratchbuilt to accommodate a Tamiya FlaK 8.8cm gun cradle. The gun has been replaced by the ladder of a 1/50 scale firetruck toy for the launch rail and a rocket that vaguely resembles the Enzian radio-controlled surface-to-air missile. It was made with the lower parts of two 1/72 scale Academy Me 163s and a lot of sanding, plus some scratchbuilt parts.”
