Christian Thiele

Duelmen, Germany

“Revell history from 1972” is how Christian describes his 1/32 scale F-4J Phantom, depicted aboard USS America in 1968. He installed Eduard cockpit details and stencils for the weaponry from TwoBobs. Bare-Metal Foil graces leading edges. Christian surrounded the plane with figures and a tow tractor (resin from PWMP Go Navy), various small accessories from Verlinden, and tie-downs from TS-Modellbau. He made the flight deck himself and gave it a suitably rough finish by airbrushing unthinned paint at low pressure through a medium nozzle.
