Mike went to town on Burago’s 1/24 scale die-cast Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, removing the body, stripping the paint, and replacing door hinges with parts fabricated to replicate the real car. Inside, he installed corrected seats, dashboard details, a steering wheel, and door panels. Over and under the hood, he added clamps and lift handles and plumbed the engine. After detailing the chassis and repainting the body, he mounted a set of wire wheels from an old Talbot Lago.
