On the perils of second-hand kits, Hans writes: “A couple of years ago I bought two old models at an estate sale. I started building one of the models, Revell’s 1/25 scale Quicksand Chevy Van with trailer, buggy and dirt bike. However, not all the parts were in the box. Fortunately, the second model, also a Revell Chevy van with trailer and dirt bikes, had the missing parts. The decals were not salvageable, so I had to use some I saved from other models.” Hans hand-brushed with Humbrol enamels.
