Based on the M3 Lee chassis, the M31 tank recovery vehicle was something Sean knew he wanted to build as soon as he saw a picture of it. From RPM he acquired a “Panzernest,” a prefabricated pillbox used by the Germans, and hung it on an M31 he built by kitbashing a Tamiya M3 with running gear from Academy kits that he installed via scratchbuilding and converting.
