A tip o’ the cap to the Tophatters! David writes: “These 19 models represent a single U.S. Navy carrier fighter squadron from 1933-34. VF-1B operated the Curtiss F11C-2 fighter in six three-plane sections, plus a Vought SU-3 scout. The 1/72 scale F11C-2 models are all Monogram kits, the SU-3 is an Esoteric vacuum-formed kit, and all were completed as a group build.
