Fred built Airfix’s 1/24 scale Hawker Hurricane Mk.1 as that of British ace Ian Richard “Widge” Gleed at RAF Exeter in August 1940. He painted with Alclad II Mil-Spec colors and scratchbuilt extras around the engine and in the cockpit.
