It’s not true that Thunderbolts never strike the same place twice. Larry built two Academy 1/72 scale P-47s, adding seat belts, armored glass behind the windscreen, gunsights, detailed wheel wells, landing-gear actuators, and ignition wiring. He used Floquil gray primer for the undersides, and Humbrol enamels on top.
