Paying tribute to the Doolittle Tokyo raid, Sergio built the Accurate Miniatures 1/48 scale B-25 Mitchell to depict Plane No. 9 taking off from USS Horneton April 18, 1942. He says, “The kit is fully detailed internally, but I had difficulty getting pilots in 1/48 scale.” So, he sculpted his own from epoxy putty.
