Having a son and two grandsons who live at the Jersey Shore and surf made it an easy choice for James to build AMT's 1/25 scale 1957 Cadillac Surf Shark. Using the hair-spray chipping technique and Tamiya flat colors gave the Surf Shark a rusty, salt-beaten finish. James also added paper cut-outs of his son and grandsons to the interior.
