Mario built the first Strombecker Retriever Rocket kit when he was a child. From the Disney “Man in Space” DVD, he noticed that the large model made for Disney was a pale blue-green, except for the bottle spacesuit. Luckily, Mario found a half-century-old bottle of Pactra paint in his stash that matched! He thinned the remaining paint and airbrushed it. Mario said he “was pleased to finally get [his] nineteen cents worth out of it!”
