Yeah, for me the indicator that prompted me to suggest a "marsupial" was the tail depicted clearly in the 3rd and 8th photos of the ship.  The rather long, narrowing tail had me a little perplexed to it's identity.  I was not aware that any species of deer had tails appearing like that.  But, many thanks to upnorth for setting us right. : - )

The creature is a deer and the scheme is a reference to Hungarian mythology. Here's a link to the importance of the deer in Hungarian mythology:

As far as I know, the decals are only available in the Hasegawa Hind kit at the moment, but I imagine some aftermarket source will (if they have not already) come up with a set.

 Thx for the great pics of a unique bird...confessing to a tad bit of ignorance about this particular ship, I must ask...what exactly is that animal {marsupial?} depicted on the fuselage?  And, where would one find the decal set for such an interesting set of clothes? ; - )
