I can't speak for their helo models, but I do have most of their X-plane models.  To call them kits is akin to the scene in Fort Apache where Henry Fonda asks Victor Mclaglen if the whiskey found in Meacham's store is whiskey.  Mclaglen's answer is it's better than no whiskey at all, which is the same response I'd give for Mach 2's kits.  Their clear parts are cloudy at best, the plastic is soft, the engraving soft and inconsistent, if you can't find your part you can carve it out the surrounding flash.  The kits I have came with engraved panel lines and very basic cockpits.  IMHO not worth the money you pay for them, unfortunately sometimes they're the only game in town.

lewbud speaks the truth.  i built the mach 2 guardian as a uscg variant and it was a long, painful build.  and painful may be a too mild a word.  and it wasn't helped by the fact that the build was one of those "cursed builds" in that if something could go wrong it could and did, such as paint and decal issues.  topped off by a kit that would make the Pope use words he taint spoeda.

Mach 2 Production Models Questions

Anyone build any Mach 2 Production helicopter models? I was looking at a couple of their early era helicopter models like the Mule that is a tadem rotor and a couple of others. No details provided on the kits though as to the kit detail, e.g., raised/recessed panel lines, rivet detail, interior detail, etc....
