That would be the utility version. The high altitude reccon. version would be the SR-51D which is fueled by the KC-51Q. Upcoming variants will be the C-51 cod and theEA-51B prowler. I could go on,but I won't. It's all very hush hush you knowTongue [:P]Wink [;)].

Would that be the utility version of the P-51, or the high-altitude reconnaisance version?? (Hmmm... me thinks there's some potential here for an April Fools Day project... )

Cheeky eh? LOL
I thought I angered a few people as it took so long for a response.
My thoughts when I actually saw the first Dolphin land at ATC Mobile were less than polite also. (Where in the @#! are we gonna put the people?)
But, you learn to get real small when plucking people out of the water.
For now I will go back and work on my HU-16E. . .

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

Uh, fellows, its the HH65A Helicopter.
The first H being the modified designator for Search and Rescue and the second H for Helicopter.
Sorry but I have over 2,000 hours in the back as a Flight Mechanic and uncounted jumps out of as a Rescue Swimmer. Being the only coastie in a big family of Squids, er, Navy people makes me a little defensive when it comes to my service.
The trumpeter kit is okay but needs work as it is just a rebox of the 365N civilian helo. The HH65 A is an Aerospatiale 366G.
Good news is with the Trumpeter kit you can make the HH65A, HH65B and soon the HH65C.
If you would like anymore information feel free to ask, I"ll be nicer, I promise.

Hey All,

Recently purchased Coast Guard Dolphin Helicopter. I was wondering if anyone has come across an excellent resource website/book to assist in building. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again.
