John, Aaron, thank you both. I think I'm gonna pick Hobby Boss "Hip" as well as the "Hind".

Here is a review of HB "Hip":

I've been hearing really good things about the Hobby Boss Mi-8 and Mi-24.

I've only bought and made the Italeri and Zvezda Mil Mi-8 kits . The Zvezda kits give you the option of leaving the rear doors open . Both kits have raised and recessed/engraved panel lines , although the Zvezda kit detail was a lot better . I also have been curious about the Hobby Boss version , the Mil Mi-8 is my favourite non U.S. Helicopter .

Sorry I couldn't of been more help with your question , I hope someone else can offer more info on the Hobby Boss kit .

                                           Kind regards John

I need a 1/72 Mil Mi-8 for my collection. I'm erring between Zvezda and Hobby Boss kits. I want to have engraved panel lines. Which one would you suggest ?
