Hope these all post, still working on motor and gears for the rotors.  Have to leave for Akron/ Steubenville on monday!  Thats sucks!!  I hope to take it with me so I have something to do in the hotel for the next three weeks.  Thanks grandadjohn for the info and i hope Melgyver likes them also.  Hope it all fits in my truck!!!

WOW!  I have a hard enough time building em without all the wires.  That looks positively perplexing.  I can't wait to see her finished and lit up.

The "office" looks great. Did you use Eduard's PE?


The following is not about your model phoneguy, but only a personal thought I wanted to share with all of you:

Though i like those models with spinning rotors (and props) and flashing lights what keeps me from doing them are two considerations:

1. What happens if the motor breaks or a bulb burns out? Do I have to undo the whole model?!
2. More model-philosophically: models are to me like 3D paintings, capturing a moment in time, so why would lights flash or rotors spin: in a picture they don't.
It's like railway-dioramas: they all look good and some are awesome, but it's weird to see the trains moving and all the rest (cars, people etc.) standing still.

Again, these are just my 2 Euro-Cents.
Your model looks great so far; keep it up and above all keep us posted!

Yes, I did use Eduard PE, both inside and out.  The lights are leds so they should last awhile.
