AH-1W color?
Posted by M1 A1 A2 Tanker on Sunday, May 10, 2009 5:58 PM

Hey

      Everyone

Decided to try something different and build a chopper. But having trouble figuring out the proper color. I'm using Testor's 1/72 AH-1W for this build. Lots of photo online show the chopper in a one tone camo.. like Ligth Ghost Grey maybe?

Thanks in Advance

Scott

They are usually in a two tone gray TPS pattern

http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/main_e.htm

after you click on the link, click through the index on the left under camoflages to find the AH-1 pattern in use since 91.

I was about to re-post the link ...

Anyhow it's a two color gray scheme: Light gray (FS-36375) and Blue Gray (FS-35237)
