Littlebird questions ...
I'm getting ready to start work on an MH-6 for the helo GB, but I'm not an aviator so I've naturally got questions. I don't want someone to look at my work and have "retard" be the first thing that comes to mind.
For the GB, I'm actually building a Littlebird & an OH-58D, so the question could relate to both I guess. The LB will be placed more in the Somalia 1993 timeframe, whereas the Kiowa will be more OIF/OEF.
1) Given the two aviators in the cockpit ... which one is the primary pilot? Or does it matter? And when one is flighting, where the other guys hands? (And no thats not a loaded question!)
2) On the LB, in the kit, as well as reference pics, theres a cockpit wall with what looks like radio communications equipment behind the aviators' heads, and one that looks pretty blank. which one is more correct for an MH-6?
3) In looking at Cobra Co. conversion kit, it has two "screens" that are added on to the interior. Is this equipment at would have been used on LB's during the operations in Somalia in '93? Or just on more modern LB's? Also in the LB ... I know that Kiowa pilots have M4s in the cockpits, do LB pilots carry personal weapons on board? If so, where and what.
I'm sure that I'll have more questions later. Thanks in advance for your help.
