lost rotor assembly
Posted by 100LL on Friday, June 19, 2009 3:36 PM
So about a year ago I was building an Academy Black Hawk, well I finished the rotor assembly and put the model away for a year. Coming back to it i can't find the entire rotor assembly, what do I do about missing part? Do I have to get a whole new kit or can I just get the few pieces I need?

Sometimes, if the kit is still in production, you can contact the company (look at the instructions sheet for the number or address). Let them know what pieces you need and they might sell you the sprue sheet(s) for the pieces that you're missing.

I've never had to do this, but I remember others talking about it. Worse comes to worse ... keep an eye on ebay for a started kit or a build kit or a cheap unbuilt kit.

In the US, contact the distributor, believe it is MRC, I would highly recommend a phone call from the number on thier website, do not send an e-mail, they never answer them
