Yes it's old and does have some problems, some time and work can correct some of them. But if you want a H-19 in that scale, it's the only game in town

Is it worth the money?

I have been watching the old Revell 1/48 scale H-19 kits on Ebay go between $30-$40 + shipping. I''ve been wanting to add one to my fleet but since the kit dates back to my baby year (1955 Happy B-Day [bday] ), I just wonder if it's worth spending that much $ for such an outdated model that probably has incorrect seats, cockpit and exterior details as compared to the newly tooled kits. I would like to hear from anyone who has built this kit as to any problems or complaints.

Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
