Bare Metal H-19 pics

Now that is one fine piece of work.  What did you use for the finish?

The finish is Floquil Old Silver with a 60 / 40 High Gloss and Flat clear sprayed in light coats using a Paasche Single Action AB with a #1 air cap and needle. The clear is Floquil brand. Future on the window glass. Pretty easy build, good fit but a little tight quarters when assembling the interior.

Nice job, the H-19 is one of my favorites. The silver paint looks great and actually works better than some of the fancy metal paints for this build. I'm working on a UH-19A and found out the H-19s used a lot of magnesium, so they were painted silver for corrosion resistance, not left bare.

Your H-19 is absolutely perfect

I have the same kit in my stash along with a H-19 on floats and a USCG version .

I'm not sure when I'll get around to building mine , I just hope they turn out as good as your build
