Looks great Swanny!
Andrew
I appreciate all the interest but everyone needs to understand this is a very slow moving project. I work on it when the mood strikes which for me is when I do my best stuff. I'll keep everyone updated and as soon as enough is together to be worth creating an upgrade package I will produce 20 or 30 copies or whatever I can until the molds give up. This is definitely for the advanced modeler as some serious surgery needs to happen inside the model to bring it close to a representation of reality.
I like the sound of what you are creating! If you gear it toward an experienced modeler, you could easily only provide molds for those more complicated shapes and just have templates for many other things. It sounds lie your project could easily be a good combination of the modeler's art and aftermarket convenience.

I Didn't do it!!!
Swanny,
I just picked up the Coast Guard version of the Revell H-19 boxing and would also be interested in your resin set. Looks nice so far!

It's slow going. I'm keeping track of everyone who has expressed an interest and as soon as I have some ready I'll send everyone a notice. Started work on DVD volume IV this week.
We are eagerly awaiting any further progress on on your project Sawanny!
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Beautiful work! I'm an S-55 fan and have a couple of Revell kits I'd like to do in different schemes. I would be interested in buying 2 or 3 sets.

it's a great job ! I'm inerested to get resin set too

It's slow going. I work on it when the interest catches me. Right now it's back to the sideboard.
Any progress on the resin set. I have two of these pigs and will surely get two sets.

Swanny You ain't kidding about the TLC. I was looking at one in the museum in Seattle and did not see a single raised rivet anywhere on it - not one. Look at the kit however .....

Yea I know. In a pinch, you can use the kit's fuselage as a cheese grater!
Swanny
Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see the final product. This old kit needs a lot of TLC to make it look right . I'll be checking back for updates on this one since I got one of them in my stash.
Nothing new right now. This is something that sits to one side of my main work area and gets some attention between other builds. I think the next thing I'll be doing with this will be some templates for the main cabin. Needs a floor, ceiling, front and aft bulkheads before I can start figuring out the canvas seats and cargo nets. If you have one of these kits you know how little is actually in the box, my work area for this one has one kit box completely full of kit parts, molds, resin parts and drawings along with a second box full of good castings and masters.
Just wandering if there's any progress with Swanny's H-19 project.
Wow! Your work is impressive and I also will like to be included for your upgrade parts. I recently picked up the Revell kit on ebay and was hoping to obtain some aftermaket parts for it. Will you be tackling the door and cabin windows also?
Keep in mind that these are museum aircraft so accuracy is at the whum of those who did the restoration.
I'll post them here for all to see. Back of cabin working forward. File names should specify aircraft type:

I picked up one of the Heritage sets when they first came out and yes - they work for the Wessex and the H-34 but are not as nice as the older Cutting Edge H-34 set. As for reference I could use some information on the lower cabin, specifically the forward firewall.
It is for a Wessex but should work for an H-34 as well since the main difference is the engine.

It says they are working on a full resin Wessex in 1/48 too.
I bought several 1/72 items for the Whirlwind from them last year and had great service. Shipping to the US was surprisingly reasonable.
Ditto on what everyone else said. I would like a set when you are ready to go into production.
