WOW!  You can remember back 40 years!  You must not be in the "50's" yet!  Heh, heh!

The guys are right, only large plastic model of the Cobra was the Revell 1/32 that I know about back in the late 60's.

Clear Left!

Never been one in 1/24, biggest is either Revell's 1/32, or MRC's 1/35, but the Revell one is the only Vietnam era bird in a larger scale.

Hi, I am Lee, I am a plastiholic.

I could have sworn it was 1/24th; it was the exact size of box the Huey UH-1B came in. But this was over 40 years ago, bought the kit from a hobby shop going out of business, the writing was on the wall even back then.

I've never ever heard of one.  Perhaps you were recalling the 1/32 Monogram/Revell one?

Cobra Question
Posted by jrgardner88 on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 8:11 PM

Was a 1/24 Huey Cobra Gunship ever produced? I could have sworn there was one, but with senility taking its toll I'm lucky to remember where I live. The old 1/24 Monogram UH-1B Huey Chopper is still around, did they ever make a cobra in the same scale? Thank you for any help.
