Does anyone know where I could find some painting masks for the MRC MH-60G Pavehawk? I have only been able to find some for the 1/48 scale, the kit I have is the 1/35 kit and I am having a hard time finding masks for it.

I have found the 1/48 Academy MH-60K has all the parts to build an L, G, or K version. Mini-guns, .50 cals., refueling probe, radars, IR sensor, the works. It's you best buy for a Black Hawk and spare parts. You would just have to find the right decals for the other versions. The K also gives you some corrected M-60's that would go good on any 1/48 Hueys you might have.

Clear Left!

twistedkrusty,
In 1/35 you have Cobra Company ( www.cobracompany.com ), wich makes update and correction sets in resin and Eduard ( www.eduard.cz ), wich makes photoetched sets for the UH-60 that can be used on any blackhawk.

I'm sorry for semperfikurt but it will be hard to find anything in 1/48!

Ahh thanks, I have found tons of stuff in 1:35 scale for added detail, however, 1:48 scale is just my thing, don't know what it is, like all my models to be the same scale and proportionate. thanks for the webpages though, think I will make use of it.

Cutting Edge has a resin weapon detailing set for the MH-60G in 1/48
Take a look at www.hannants.co.uk

The best that I can say is to start over with a bigger scale and go with MRC's UH-60 line up! Very good kits out of the box and plenty of after market kits to choose from.

If you want to stay with 1/48th they have detail sets for that too!

Check these options out!

http://www.cobracompany.com/

I have ordered from them before, good people and fast service!
Straighten up and fly right.....

I am building the MH-60G Pavehawk by Italeri, and the detail in it just plain sucks, cockpit, miniguns, exterior, everything has very poor detail. I looked all ove the place for a good detail set in 1/48 scale like the kit, but have not found much of anything. Any ideas? I have found some items that I could make work, but not really practical...........do you folks have any ideas about where some would be or manufacturers that make some?
