That would one of those limited appeal choppers...due to its limited group of users. It is a nice copter though.

While not as common as the s60/70 hawk series with Saudi Arabia, Australia, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Spain and Sweden (15 nations) now Awaiting or Operating, I  dont think it will bein the limited group long. Also considering the the hawk series is not that old and some of these nations are phasing them out for the NH90. I want a 48 scale, tanty tanty tanty tanty Boo Hoo

LOL

It's still fairly new and we just don't seem to be getting these new helos very fast.

I'm still waiting for an AW139 which is seeing a lot of buyers military and civilian, a Sikorsky S-92 would be nice to have too.

Helicopters just don't seem to be on the model companies radar these days, and larger scale helos really seem unpopular with the companies. I wouldn't hold my breath on a 1/48 NH90, the 1/72 kit looks pretty nice though if you can live with the smaller scale (and if you like helicopters I'd suggest you learn to love 1/72, that is where the most variety is).

Aaron, I checked out the price for my LHS to order one in last time when I was there on Friday, I'll prolly order it next time in there. Ihavn't been able to find it on the net at decent price yet.

Andrew

PS I dont mind 1/72 at all, but I have a few nice 1/48 helo's in my build list at the moment, so I kinda wanted to stay consistant, but no real drama.
