Ah, the good old Huey Hog. There are lots of threads dedicated to this model, but here are a few points you may be interested in.  First, the markings are for a Marine helo, but the model is an Army helo.  The model itself is a cross of UH-1C and UH-1B parts.  actually more of a UH-1B with the 540 Charlie model rotor.  If you are concerned about accuracy of the model itself, check some of the other Huey threads around here.  this thread is a great place to start your search: /forums/p/82898/809205.aspx#809205

As far as colors go, the interior for a Vietnam bird should be a light gray.  Personally, I have found that the color of Mr. Surfacer 1200 primer is about right and I usually just use it.  The "curtain" should actually be the seat back but it does look like a curtain on the model.  red would be an OK color for the seat back and the seats as well, although later Hueys had OD green seats.  Here area few pics that might help.  The first is a UH-1B at the Army Aviation Museum at Ft. Rucker, but the interior colors are correct for a Vietnam bird.  If you really want a lot of high res refs,  you can get my walkaround DVD of the short bodied Hueys here:

I hope some of this info helps.

Here's a UH-1B in storage at rucker showing the later seats.  Note there is no seat back here and that was true of most Vietnam hueys as well reagrdless of seat color.

I just got a 1/48th scale Revell model of the HUEY HOG.  The instructs say that the interior is silver with red drapes on the bulkhead.  That doesn't seem correct.  can anyone give me clues on how the interior was painted or what color fabric was used?  Also, this model has the grenade launcher for the nose.  Any paint scheme color ideas would be appreciated!!  thanks
