MRC 1/35 UH-1C Frog

I am currently building this model and putting the main rotors together.
I thought this would be simple, however there seems to be a lot of in correct info in the instructions and the parts them selves.
Firstly the Main rotor pitch control horns (B-5) dont have any connection tubes to the "Y" mixing levers (B-48). The connection points are there however the pitch control horn mounts (B-5) face down, not up like they are supposed to.
Secondly there is no connection tubes in the kit to connect the swash plate drive links (B-46) to the rotor blades. The instructions say to use (B-44) is the service door prop but I am sure these are the drive link tubes.
If any one knows and has built this kit can you please inform as to how you got around this problem.

I would like to help you out, but just came to work offshore today and won't be back home until next Tues. I'll pass on what I remember. I has started on the kit sevral years ago and noticed the same problem. I started working on something else and never got back to it. Part B-44 is probably the control tubes that should attach to the levers on the swashplate. There were forks on the ends that fit over the levers you will have to add. You will have to scratch build some short pitch change links to go from the pitch horn of the blades to the center of the "Y" of the mixing levers of the stablizer bar assy. The aft main engine cowl doors just folded back agains the tail boom and a small strap secured them on a stud. Hope that helps out for now. I don't think there are any close ups of the rotor area, but check our my Vietnam Unit Web page. We had UH-1C's. The Sharks! www.americal.org/174/
