Mi-24 Hind in Hungarian "Eagle" scheme
Posted by Darren Roberts on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 7:27 PM

I'm mainly a jet builder, but this scheme was too good pass up. I built it a couple years ago, but just new pictures for Ebay, so I thought I'd post them. The kit is OOB with the only decals being the claws, Hungarian national insignia, and the 117. Everything else is airbrushed and hand painted. It was quite the exercise in patience, but I think it turned out pretty well.

Supreme paint job! Excellent!

What kit is it? By the looks it seems it wasn't the easiest one.

I got an E-mail with this helicopter as it's subject. I never knew it was from Hungary, though.

Still, an amazing paint job.

May I ask what scale this 'chopper is?

You must have been born with a airbrush as hands! OMG that is a awesome finish!

Hit the road and do custom airbrush work on motorbikes. Those guys with 50k + invested in a custom bikes wouldn't think twice about dropping a few grand on paint, Sturgis & Daytona would be good places to get your name, talent and work out there, after that they will find your studio from around the country.

In between commissions keep building & painting killer' models! Thanks for posting.
