Me too, Marke,

When I walk into the hobby shop, slide the box from the shelf, hold it in my grimy little hands, THEN and ONLY then will I accept the fact that the whole thing is really real!

I watched another model manufacturer (MRC) lead everyone by the nose, even producing the clay molds for the kit and giving a release date...... but at the last moment, trashing the idea in favor of the 17th version of an Apache, or UH-1B, or P-51, etc etc etc....

Panda probably will come through, but personally, I'll have to be holding it to believe it.

Frank

Your not the only one Marke!

This is not my 1/35 scale model but this is the kit that is filling my gap for a Helo like a Chinook for now!....It has a FULL interior including a thin sheet of styrene for cutting out the bench material....a very cool kit with over 400 parts! I'm making mine a U.S. Coast Guard Helo!

We have heard about the Panda 1/35 Hook for well over a year now and still no CHINOOK! the last word I have heard was the summer of 04.....We will see!

Panda Models is also talking about a 1/32 scale B-17! ...thats almost too big for a scale model!....I would be very happy with a new and improved B-17G!
Straighten up and fly right.....

Thats HELLERS's big 1/35 scale Super Frelon its 22 inches long!......one went today on ebay for only 27.00! so its not that untuchable.

I think it came out in 1975 but it might be alot older....its not a kit for the weak at heart but it sure is cool!

People forget that the stories about the 1/48 Airfix Lightning and Buccaneer were floating around for nearly 6 Years after they announced it at the Earls Court toy show in the early 90's.
