Need help finding a helo

What company makes a good 1/35 or 1/48 MH-6 Little Bird?

One more question, is there any figures I could use that would sit on the side?

I believe Heavy-arty did one... with figs. I'd also be interested to know too though.

Dragon does an AH-6 in 1/35 #3527  IIRC, it's OOP at the moment but it comes back around every few years.

Dragon's AH-6J Littlebird gunship kit is the only one in 1/35.  It is a great kit too.  I highly recommend it.

Here is mine.  I used the Cobra Company MELB conversion set to make it an MH-6J MELB to carry troops as opposed to an AH-6J gunship.

The Rangers are converted from the Dragon Delta Force Somalia figure set with legs cast by a friend.  The pilots are from the Academy OH-58D kit.

I don't know of any 1/48 AH-6Js.  I believe  Academy (reboxed by Tamiya) made a 1/48 MD-500 that could be converted, but I am not sure.

Check out this thread for more info on building a 160th SOAR AH/MH-6J/M Littlebird model.

Good luck in your search.

Academy does (or did) a 1/48 AH-6. But it needs a bit of work to bring up to speed. It is more of a MD-500 Defender kit in black plastic. It needs work on weapons, antenaes, and sighting optics. But it is a decent starting point with proper reference.

Most likely cloned from the '80's Hasegawa MD-500. IIRC, Hasegawa did several versions of the 500 series way back when.

Yes it is either off of Hasegawa or Fujimi's MD-500. It comes with twin TOW pods for each side, mast mounted or fuselage mounted sight optics and options for the twin or single exhaust.
