Thanks guys.

My plans are to cover the steel rod with a round shoestring, to place a second shoestring on the other side and to have one or two rangers rappeling down on each side of the blackhawk. The diorama will be set in "The Mog" during 3rd October 1993.

But it will be a while till it's done because first I have to finish other models I'm working on (Littlebird, Pavehawk, Mr.Spock and Napoleon).
I just made a try the other night to see if my idea would work.

Bye

Klaus

Looks great. Are you going to have figures like of soldiers going down the ropes, too?

nice job ! looks like that may blend into diorama better than the acrylic dowels i have used in the past. can't wait to see the finished product. keep us posted.

Hovering Blackhawk

Hi all,

Maybe this could interest some of you:

I got a Blackhawk hovering 9.8 inches over my carpet.
I used a steel rod and I had to bend it to balance the helicopter. It seems to work Big Smile [:D].
If you want to see some more pics of my solution head over to:

Let me know what you think.
