Looking for some 1/144 weapons to dress up the UH-60G. It looks like some had 50 cal's or the minigun option. Ozmods makes miniguns but I have yet to see pics and my thought is that they are in pods for Huey's.
1/144? That would certainly be a "mini" gun, wouldn't it?
Sorry, I'm not sure where you could pick any of those up though. I can't work that small, not sure how you do it!

Been thinking of making them out of small brass tube like the size of a syringe. Probably not that hard to scratch with a little practice.
Not a bad idea, wouldn't need much detail at that scale.
The Minicraft PBY has some .50 cals for the waist blisters. They're little more than T-shaped bits (gun & mounting stalk) but you can make out a definate taper of the barrel from the body
Solid wire would work just fine, at that scale you wouldn't be able to see inside the barrel anyway unless you were flea sized.

I'm actually working on this with wire. I use small electrical shrink tube to make the breach area. It works good to hold the wires in position. I'd post a pic but I need a macro lens for you to see it.
So I just got a Revell HH-53C and guess what it has in the kit....2 miniguns! Now how to figure out how to make a mold and cast them to make more. I knew they were out there!
