Thanks for the compliment.  It was a pretty easy build but I had fun doing it especially considering 'MASH' is my second favorite TV show ever, behind only 'The West Wing'.

I like this build a lot. Very nicely done I must say. Seems very simplistic but there is a lot of detail present.

I like it even if the tank mounts are wrong lol.

Thanks for the response.  I never thought the color choice for the tank listed in the instructions would be wrong.  I guess in the future I should do a little bit more research.

I was thinking of a MASH themed dio.  One of the chopper on the pad with the ambulance driving up the hill with people running.

Very cool! The H-13 being the first aircraft to get me off the ground and I have always wanted to model this. I like what I see here. One issue with the kit is the rear framework pipe diameter is a bit oversized.

Thanks for posting!

It looks pretty good.  One thing though, the fuel tank and its mount should not be silver, but OD green like the rest of the fuselage.  There was also a metal frome that went around the door openings as well.  Some models (like the MRC kit) also had a metal oval bar in the front of the buble for support as well.  It was also painted OD green.  The helo could use a bit of weathering as well.  It is way too clean looking.

The actual helicopter was known as the Bell 47 or by the military designation of H-13 Sioux.  It was used for MedEvac (Medical Evacuation) to transport wounded Soldiers from the forward areas back to MASH (Mobile Army Sergical Hospital) units for treatment.

Here are some ideas for dios.

Here are some pics of a MASH Chopper that I completed a few weeks ago.  I was thinking about using it in a dioramma but I haven't figured out too much about them yet.

Any comments/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
