Hi all, new guy to your forum and just getting use to getting around, what brought me here is that I have been looking for a highly detail plastic model of a Bell Jet Ranger. I have a model of Nichmo (not sure if that is how it is spelled) Hughes 500, but I have not worked on it since we moved and I can not find the finished interior section. I hear pros and cons on this kit, I have not built to many detailed kits so I am not real familiar with what is good and what isn't. Look forward to chatting with some folks that know this fascinating hobby.

Hello Tractor........  welcome!

Not familiar with your kit issue, but good luck with it.

I would bet someone in the crowd has some info on your kit(s).

Post some photos when you can

Enjoy the ride!

What scale are you looking for?  There are a few Bell Jet Ranger / OH-58 kits out there.  Some are better than others.

Thanks fellas for the welcome, scale is not all that important Arty, the bigger the better, I am thinking around 1/20 or 1/16, but I will take what I can get and work the rest around the Jet Ranger, just would like a good kit with lots of detail. I will try to get some pics of this 500 kit I have, not real good at pics and attaching yet, so please be patient. Thanks again, John

The largest Jet Ranger model I know of is in 1/32 from Revell.  It is pretty basic and missing quite a bit on the interior and exterior.  It can be made into a nice model with some work though.  It is not that big, only about 12" long.

Hello! Can't respond directly to your question but as a relative newbie myself i can say this is the best place to find answers, it's only a matter of time before you get the response you're looking for. I've learned so much and find all the people here are very accommodating and helpful. Again, welcome and enjoy!
