I've been working on this one on and off for a few months now and finally got it done.  I replaced the seats with some I had that looked a little better but the rest is from the kit.  I attempted to droop the main rotor blades and just about ruined one of them so after working on it a little I got some droop but not sure if it is in the correct spot.  Have a look.

Chris,

Looks great, I did this kit a while back and I just love the looks of the paint scheme these things had, I think it was gloss but I could be wrong. Thanks for sharing

Engine gray is a gloss color, but IMHO, it looks better with a semi-gloss finish for scale effect.

Looks great!  To droop the rotors....before you assemble the blades to the rotorhead, start your droop where the blade cuff marries up to the blade.  Work it about two thumb widths down, and you should have the droop you want.  Remember, the front blades will droop more than the aft blades when static.  My bro-in-law was with the last 3 H-2 squadrons in the Navy before going on the the H-60.  Kind of an H-2 buff myself.  Still looking for the 1/72nd scale Airfix kit....Again, great build!
