Cobra mod kits
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 5:07 PM
Hi all, first time posting here. Does anyone have any experience with the Cobra MH-60L Conversion Set (35005)? Does it contain the BlackHawk weapons kit as well (35007)? Any experience dealing with the company? Do any retailers sell their kits or can you only order from them?

You can look at the company's web site to see the parts you get with each kit. www.cobracompany.com It looks like no weapons in the 35005 set.

Clear Left!

GREVEN. First of all Sign - Welcome [#welcome] You're gonna find a lot of friendly and helpful advice in this forum.
Next. I have no personal experience with Cobra Company but there are a couple on here who have and they have done nothing but sing praises about the quality and customer service. I have never met any of the people on this forum, but from looking at these 2 fellas work and reading almost all of their replies to people needing help. If I had only enough money to buy one update per model and Cobra Company made it? They would get my money.

Big Smile [:D] Thanks for the welcome! I've been reading the forums here for the past month or so but haven't posted until today.
I actually checked the blown up picture on Cobra's site but couldn't really tell from that. Was hoping someone here would have some first hand knowledge to share Smile [:)]

Welcome to the forums. I've heard nothing but good things said about Cobra's products both here and in other forums . I've seen pics of Helos with their aftermarket parts and the models looked pretty darn good to em. I've got an Academy Blackhawk still in the box that's gonna need some of their help. After building MH-60 stock box, and comparing the results with kits done with their mods, try the add ons, worst it could be is fun!!!

I second what Randie said!

Chris is a great guy to deal with, and his products are top notch!

Thanks everyone, I'll definately give one of the kits a shot then. I just started doing models again so at this point cutting through the plastic on the box is fun. I almost feel 10 years old again! Big Smile [:D]
