Green Tint

What is a proven method to tint the top cabin windows with that green tint?  I've tried clear green paint but cannot seem to get the right shade despite many attempts.  A search in this forum returned an idea of adding food coloring to future!  Does that work?

I have had good luck using Tamiya Clear Green airbrushed on. Very light coats until you get the tint level you prefer.

A dip in Future after the paint has had time to dry and cure.

I have used Tamiya Clear Green (X25) acrylic paint with success in the past.  I also have a spray bottle of Testors Transparent Candy Green (#1601) that comes out great too.

Future tinted with a small amount of regular green acrylic will also work, although it would involve some experimentation to get the shade correct.
