No way - that's more like a turbine engine than a rotor. It's probably closer to a UFO! Nice work on these as well, no matter what you call it.

I wouldn’t consider Avro-car to be a helicopter. It only ever achieved a maximum altitude of 5 feet. This wind tunnel rig held the Avro-car higher than that!
