From my observation there was no standard camo-sheme for the SOS HH-3s and each had (more or less) it's own pattern.

Best regards

Here you go...

SEA

Euro-one

I do recommend downloading TO 1-1-4 if you can, (the site above is just one place where it can be found) as it's a good reference for a good number of aircraft schemes.

Download TO-1-1-4 from here: http://www.everyspec.com/USAF/USAF+-+Tech+Manuals/download.php?spec=TO_1-1-4_CHG-6.029193.pdf

Look at page 125 (Figure D-21) for a 3-view diagram of the paint pattern.

@John,

A 4-view Euro-1 pattern for the CH-3 can be found in the same document, Page 127, (fig. D-23)

My computer keeps freezing up when I try and access the link .

I kindly ask if someone could post both camo diagram pattens here on FSM

Here are some of the reference pic's I mentioned above ;

Unfortunatly the tail of the HH-3E isn't in the picture but Revell's 1/72 HH-3E box art is quite similar ;

Sadly Revell didn't supply a painting diagram in their kit , I don't know why ???

Anyway some more scans from my reference books ;

As well as the vintage Revell kit , I also have three of those Linberg HH-3E kits in the stash ; I was thinking of doing one in the Euro one scheme ;

Here's a cabin interior pic of the troop seats ;

So far I have only been able to find several pic's of the left side of the HH-3E with the euro one scheme , I'll keep searching for some more .

Lindberg also did a "Desert Storm" version ;

Here's their paint instructions ;

Dark Tan and olive Drab are given on the instructions , I think it should be Dark Tan and Sand ???

Anyway I hope some of this may be of help .

I built a 1/72 scale HH-3E back in 2008 , here's the link to the finished build ;

/forums/p/90644/898216.aspx#898216

I'll search through my reference material for pic's of the real aircraft and camo scheme and post those as well .

Can anyone provide all-around graphics of the HH-3 SEA scheme; Dark Green/Medium Green/Tan/Grey?

Thank you.
