MH-60G pic please!
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 6:42 PM
I purchased my MH-60G on christmas eve, only to receve a 1/35th scale K5 German rail gun for christmas, wich has taken me almost 2 months to complete ( minus crew ). Now that it's done i'm about to start my Pave Hawk! While searching the net for reference I stumbled upon this great comunity ! all the reference I will ever need it seems, and even the opertunity to speak with people who have actualy flown in various Hawks! too good to be true it seems.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had pics of Pave Hawk interiors (specificly the rappeling mechanism, minigun ammo feeds if any, and cockpit.) also if anyone had pics of difering colour schemes, I dont want to use the one in the box. I think i'll use ether the dark grey or the desert cammo scheme.

The USAF Homepage ( www.af.mil )contains lots of pics (that's where I got most of my reference). From the main page got to the pictures section and the from there to aircraft/helicpoters/HH-60.

Another good reference page is the Helicopter Walkaround page at http://helicopterwalkarounds.czweb.org/

Littlebird,
I've been working out of Pavehawks for the past 14 years and as many on this forum can attest I have LOTS of pictures. What I don't have I can head over to the hangar or alert bird and get for you. Drop me a line with your e-mail address and I'll give you what I've got.Big Smile [:D]

Geez guys, I should run for resident Pavehawk expert.Big Smile [:D]

Sorry Salbando,
I sent you a msg with my e-mail adress, but forgot to tell you what exactly I was after.

Im currently building the Academy 1\35th kit, and i've heard of alot of flaws. these include things such as the cockpit controls (all of them, even overhead ones) as many minigun shots as you can get ( mostly after the ammo feeds, and those pipes coming off the ejector ports) Also I need to see the rappeling mechanism. And, the Straboard engine, the kit comes with one, but its pretty barren.
Also I need to see as many different pave hawk colour schemes as you have access too, as im not sure which I wil go with.

if you could get pics of all that i'll be forever in your debt!!

Thanks Salbando,

Littlebird

Littlebird,
I've got everything you need, except the engine shots which I'll go get this Friday. Send me another e-mail with a reminder of what you wanted, and I'll hook you up. I'm currently on duty, but am off for the next four days (gotta go in and do some weapons stuff on Friday).
BTW, some of the pics are big so make sure you have the room in your inbox.

Salbando if you please post a bunch of those images on ARC for all of us to enjoy. Take like three dozen or so images of one aircraft and post them in the walkaround section.

Thanks.

Littlebird mentioned that, and I think that's just what I'm going to do. I'll probably also make a contribution on the HC-130N and several other aircraft I've got access to. Might take me a couple day's though. I'll be sure to make a post here when I do.Big Smile [:D]
