Hind Help!!
Posted by PANZER826 on Thursday, August 16, 2012 6:00 PM

Ok so I'm putting together the Revell 1/48 Hind D. Yea I know its not the best around but I got a good deal on it.  Anyways any advice on how to paint it ?  I'm going with the Soviet tan/green camo pattern but do I 1)put it all together then airbrush it  2) tape it together without the interior then paint or  3) paint it while its all apart ?  Any and all advice is needed.  Thanks

1)put it all together then airbrush it ...

This is the best method.  You will need to fully paint the interior before closing it up, then paint the whole exterior with an airbrush to get the camo pattern you are after.

I did my 1/72 Mil 35 by first painting the interior , closing it up, completing the whole helo then sprauing it in desert camo.

I cant really see how you will be able to paint the exterior without it being complete as the como pattern might be disrupted.
