                        My Dad flew Labs for the last half of his career in the late 70's and early 80's, and I'm building him the Academy Kv-107 kit for father's day.

                        I have a good reference for the proper shade of yellow, but I don't know what shade of red to use.  Any suggestions?

                         

                        I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

                        Hi Colin,

                        I built the Hobbycraft CH113 Labrador a couple of years ago.  I used Testor's Model Master Guards Red and liked the result.

                        Post some pics when you get it done.

                        Thanks.  I've also found somewhere that MM Insignia Red looks good over white primer.
